These terms cover your use of peakreliance.co and of Holos Search, the internal tool Peak Reliance uses to report how our own websites appear in Google Search. By using this website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Information, not advice
The articles and guides on this website are general information. They are not tax, accounting, legal or financial advice for your situation.
- Tax rules change often. Some articles were written for earlier tax years and may be out of date.
- The calculators on our Free Financial Tools page are run by another provider on its own website. Their results are estimates.
- Please do not act on anything here without advice from a qualified professional who knows your facts.
Becoming a client
Using this website, emailing us or calling us does not make you our client. We become your accountants only when we both sign an engagement letter. That letter, not these terms, sets out our services, fees and responsibilities.
Until then, please do not send us Social Security numbers, tax documents or other sensitive records unless we ask for them.
Using this website
You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use or your business’s internal use. Please do not:
- copy, republish or sell the site’s content without our written permission;
- use our name or content in a way that suggests we endorse you;
- try to disrupt the site, gain unauthorized access to it, or collect its content with automated tools, other than search engines indexing it.
The Peak Reliance name, logo, text and graphics on this site belong to Peak Reliance or its licensors.
Holos Search
Holos Search is an internal tool. It is not offered to the public, and no client or visitor can sign up for it or sign in to it.
- Who uses it: only Peak Reliance, with the permission of the firm’s owner, using Google accounts and websites the firm owns or manages.
- What it does: it reads search performance data from Google Search Console, read-only. It does not change our websites, our Search Console settings or any Google account.
- Google’s terms: its use of Google services is also subject to the Google Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how it handles Google data.
- Removing access: the account holder can remove its access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to websites run by others, such as government tax agencies and accounting software providers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
No warranty
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Peak Reliance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. This does not limit our responsibilities to clients under an engagement letter, or any responsibility the law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute about them will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
